The students of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Gurukul from the year 2015 had started participating in the State / National Level Competitions and as well as the students of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Gurukul have also won awards in academics from 2012-13 to 2019-20 sessions, the following students who won the prizes in National Level Competitions and in academics was also felicitate by the Hon'ble Chairman, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (Hon'ble Governor, J&K State):

a) National Level Sanskrit Competition Winners (organized by the Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, New Delhi at Sri Venkateswara Vedic University, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh (in the year 2015) and Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan,Campus Agartala, Tripura (in the year 2016,2017,2018,2019 and 2020):

b) State Level Shilakha Pariksha \ Kanth Path (Debate) Competition Winners / attended (organized by the Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, New Delhi at its Kot Balwal Campus, Jammu):

c) Academic winners of Gurukul students of Class 8th (Prathama) in the entire Sampurnanand Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya, Varanasi:

Hon'ble Chairman, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (Hon'ble Governor, J&K State) felicitated the award winning students of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Gurukul at Raj Bhawan on 28.02.2017 and 05.03.2018 by presenting a Souvenir of Shrine Board (Commemorative Coin set of SMVDSB), letter of appreciation and alongwith cash prize were distributed to the outstanding students of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Gurukul, who participated in the State Level / National Level competitions as well as those who were toppers in the Sampurnanand Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya, Varanasi.
